About a week ago, Karl, Donna & I hit North Beach for their engagement session. Let me just say how much I love Karl & Donna - they are truly an amazing couple. While they were busy hanging (literally) off some scaffolding we found in one of the alleyways, a couple of guys came by and started watching our shoot. They thought this was the coolest thing they had ever seen, and before we knew it, they were taking us up to the rooftop of their apartment building which not only had killer 360 views of the city, but had all these amazing pipes, wires, and graffiti everywhere. I thought I’d died and gone to photographer’s heaven :)

Cheryl & Julio were married at the beautiful St. Joseph’s Cathedral on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon. And afterwards we shot their portraits at the Rotunda to take advantage of the amazing architecture, both outside and inside.

A little over a week ago, Jennifer, John and I hit North Beach for their engagement session along with their adorable little pug, Elvis. We had a blast going around the different streets and alleys of North Beach. And Elvis really added a fun dimension to the portraits. So if any of you out there are at all considering bringing your pets along on your engagement or portrait session, please do!! Here are a few of my favorites from our evening together …

On Sunday, I met up with Marianne and Josh for their engagement session at Golden Gate Park. It was one of those wonderfully foggy days that just made the colors in the park really pop. Marianne wore these incredible red shoes that just really popped against the green. Very cool!!!
Unfortunately, it was a bit too foggy to go to Baker Beach … so I’ll be posting part two of their session in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

Capitola Beach is one of my favorite places to escape to. I was thrilled when Brooke & Nick chose it for their engagement session. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and most of the crowds were gone by the evening time. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!!

I’ve been such a slacker with my blog this past week! But I’ve been dying to post the pictures from Michelle and Jose’s wedding last weekend in San Diego. They were married at the beautiful Mission de Alcala Church, with reception following at the Mission Valley Marriott. Here are just few of my favorite shots from the day. This past Saturday, we were finally able to finish up Gaby & Mike’s engagement session at Baker Beach. Fortunately, this time we had beautiful weather, and a gorgeous sunset. Gaby & Mike were so creative! I can’t wait to see what they come up with for their wedding.
Gaby has never lost a game. Saturday was no exception!
